The region is exceptionally well positioned within the Hauts-de-France region. It offers uncommon accessibility, thanks to its immediate proximity to the geostrategic motorway axes of northern Europe.
The TGV high-speed train station in the city center and a high-performance reception facility are other attractive features. Douai is a city where everything can be done on foot or by soft traffic. The railway station, the Palais des Séminaires et des Congrès and the main hotels are just 10 minutes from the city center, and there is plenty of free parking for participants arriving by car.
