Preamble :
With the exception of the Centre Historique Minier, which has been classified as a historic monument since 2009 and is one of the outstanding sites in the coalfield listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2012, all businesses promoted on the Douaisis-Agglo site must be located in the Douaisis Agglo area and pay their business property tax to the department responsible for this area.
All these professionals must offer services related to the “professional meetings industry”, also known as the MICE sector:
– Room rental
– Accommodations (hotels – bed & breakfasts – gîtes)
– Catering (restaurateurs – caterers)
– Additional technical services (sound and lighting – transport and transfers – event service providers)
– Incentives (packages will be offered by the local tourist office and event agencies specializing in business tourism)

In order to be promoted on the www.douaisis-events.com website, prospective hotels, B&Bs and B&Bs will need to be recognized via their own brand, whether as a subsidiary, franchise or management mandate.

– Bed and breakfasts must offer a minimum of 4 rooms at the same address.
– Self-catering cottages must offer a minimum of 10 rooms at the same address.
